People before profit
What we stand for
NSW Socialists are a new electoral party shaking up politics as usual—rebuilding a fighting socialist movement and an anti-capitalist alternative to Liberal and Labor, amplifying the fights for workers, housing and economic justice, climate action, against racism and war, and for the better world we think is possible.

New South Wales desperately needs a political force that stands up to the powerful, and stands with the people who are fighting back.
Since taking office in 2023, the Minns Labor government has waged war on public sector workers by breaking wage promises, offering below-inflation pay rises and denouncing striking nurses, doctors and teachers, as well as paramedics and train drivers.
It is accelerating the privatisation of public housing by pushing ahead with the eviction and demolition of the Waterloo estate — the largest in the country. And it has cracked down on the right to protest by ramming through draconian anti-protest laws and targeting climate activists and the Palestine solidarity movement with police repression and legal threats.
That's why we’re taking inspiration from the Victorian Socialists and building a political force in this state that puts people before profit and fights for the rights of workers and the oppressed.
